Trevor Clark of ActionCOACH shares practical insights to entrepreneurs at Wentworth Business Clinic

Overcoming business obstacles while nurturing entrepreneurial strengths were some of the focal points presented by ActionCOACH Business Mastery’s Trevor Clark to the Wentworth Business Clinic attendees on Friday, 24 January at the Blue Roof Wellness Centre in Wentworth, Durban.

ActionCOACH Business Mastery is a business and executive coaching organisation run by Trevor Clark. Working with individuals and businesses – from start-ups to executive corporations – Clark offers usable coaching programmes which are designed to identify challenges, and provide practical applications and results-driven solutions.

“It was such a privilege to, once again, engage with the business community at the Wentworth Business Clinic,” said Clark. “We, at ActionCOACH Business Mastery, believe in empowering entrepreneurs from all sectors of the community, and it’s vital that they learn the best techniques to run their own business – they need to learn in order to earn.”

Clark’s powerful business coaching presentation uses insightful techniques aimed at assisting entrepreneurs or aspirant entrepreneurs in defining goals, identifying obstacles, and finding solutions to overcome them. His behavioural theory of OAR (Ownership, Accountability and Responsibility) versus BED (Blame, Excuse and Deny) has helped hundreds of business owners systemise their operations, saving them time and increasing profits.

This is Clark’s third presentation to attendees of the Wentworth Business Clinic, a joint enterprise development Initiative between Fullimput and its social partners, The Blue Roof, and the Community Support Group. Started in March 2018, the clinic encourages entrepreneurship promotion through the sharing of vital business information, as well as the provision of mentorship and guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs – all of which is free of charge.

“We would like to extend our thanks to Trevor for another insightful presentation that will further grow business within the community,” said Reginald Nyandeni, Fullimput’s Commercial Director, and the facilitator of the Wentworth Business Clinic. “His engaging presentations are always well-received and solutions-driven, with attendees empowered to either establish new businesses or grow existing ones.”

Commenting on the Wentworth Business Centre presentation, Carolyn Jacobs, manufacturer of aluminium products, said she has gained insight into taking her business to the next level; while fellow attendee, Dalene Stoffels, said she attends as often as possible for the relevant business-developing content.

The Wentworth Business Clinic hosts a talk every Friday at Blue Roof Wellness Centre from 12pm to 3pm. There are also seminars hosted every quarter which, to date, have attracted more than 500 people and seen the establishment of 12 new business entities – one of which is currently supplying stationery products to major Durban-based retail outlets.
