Shirley Williams founded Shirley Williams Communications (SWC) as an independent, cross-industry, boutique communications agency in 1998.
Passionate about building brands, promoting creative collaboration, and partnering with like-minded brand professionals, Shirley gained her classical marketing and communications background by working with major companies such as Unilever, Renfreight Forwarding, and JSE-listed industrial group T&N Holdings.
Over the years, Shirley and her team have gained experience in traditional media, and more recently in social media and digital platforms—experience that enables us to offer a range of services including public relations, marketing, advertising, media relations, social media, reputation management, and media liaison among others.

In 2013 Shirley Williams Communications received the prestigious gold PRISM Award for work done on the Willowton Group’s sponsorship of Test Cricket in the 2011 / 2012 cricket season.
